Drape and silhouette is Gary Bigeni’s aesthetic calling card—twisted jersey scoops seamlessly across the body and fabric seems to turn in on itself to take on new form. Look beyond the deceptive simplicity of his designs and you discover multidimensional tailoring in a palette of nude, sand, coral, sky, tulip and crisp white. Local wools, silks and jerseys are joined by woven textiles and leather—in incredible shades of camel and burnt orange—for the first time. Shoes build on the twisted themes in the collection.
Gary Bigeni’s collection is made entirely in Australia with the majority of pieces crafted from natural fibres such as silk jersey, merino wool and silk/cotton. Product is packaged in recycled boxes with re-usable hangers and Bigeni generously donates clothing to Barnardos to raise money for the charity’s work with children.
