The spring collection from Gypsy05 is due in stores any minute now… as the name suggests, the Californian label specialises in bohemian maxi dresses and lives by the feelgood motto “good planets are hard to find”.
Rather than merely dish out warm and fuzzy sentiment, the label creates each piece from each collection with organic textiles, low impact dyes and water-based prints. Even better…as of January, the Gypsy05 factory harnesses the sun for all its energy use.
The brand’s maxi dresses tend to get quite a bit of attention, in no small part due to them being seen all over young Hollywood—Paris Hilton, Vanessa Hudgens (above) and Lauren Conrad are fans. And poor old Lindsay Lohan is quite fond of them also…no word on whether she’s scouting around for one in Incarceration Orange right about now. I suppose she’d need to be held in maxi security for that.
