Give an old dress a new home this weekend: The Clothing Exchange comes to Sydney tomorrow, with Take 2 Markets gracing Melbourne on Sunday.
Trade in those neglected clothes for something new (well, new to you) at The Clothing Exchange swap meet. Add your old threads to the pool and walk away with something fresh. The events was launched in 2006 by Kate Luckins and is now a monthly phenomenon. It all kicks off at 12.30pm at Hotel Clarendon in Surry Hills. Registration is $25 (including a drink) but once you’re in, it’s a smorgasbord of free fashion begging for a new home.
Meanwhile, Melbourne’s mega Take 2 Markets return on Sunday and it’s a big one being the event’s third birthday. Over 80 stalls of vintage and new pieces, mini makeovers and giveaways. Take 2 hits Hawthorn Town Hall from 10am to 3pm, with $3 entry.
