Drift off into the season with Elk as the new Away We Go collection brings summer design cues and an upbeat colour story to their signature jewellery, accessories and garments.
Hot air balloon brooches, cicada-embossed leathers and Elk’s debut footwear range (in the form of simple ballet flats and pared-back sandals) keep to the spirit of the season. As always, silver, resin (an industrial by-product) and wood (which is offset by a tree buy-back scheme) form the backbone of the jewellery range.
Simplicity is key to the Elk aesthetic, which extends to belts, hats, scarves and apparel basics. Natural textiles such as jute, silk and mango wood are used through much of the collection.
The design team directly employ independent producers in India and Asia for the bulk of the collection and strive to incorporate vegetable dyes.
