Charmed, indeed. The brilliant Kate Sylvester has unleashed her SS10-11 collection, This Charming Man. In her inimitably kooky manner, Sylvester marries giant pussy bows and ultra-feminine frocks with tomboy cuts and military detailing.

The New Zealand designer has accumulated an eclectic aesthetic over the past couple of decades, one that invariably includes edgy attitude and gorgeous texture—in this case, sequined highlights, sheer tiers and lingerie cues.

Highlights include creamy, caramel-hued leather, military-infused florals and fabulous frames from her eyewear collection. Perhaps indicative of the innate sense of humour Sylvester puts into her collection, This Charming Man tragically doesn’t include menswear pieces. Sadly missed.
