New pieces from the sunny spring collection from Kissin Cussin are in stores this month.
The second installment from the Violets On Venus collection continues the themes established by the first part of the range, with bright prints (the label’s trademark), bohemian cuts and girlie detailing.
In keeping with the season, florals abound: from delicate, Liberty-style prints to designs seemingly etched out of dots to simple flowers under big, colourful painted brushstrokes. The hippy-peasant styling consists of cropped sari tops with billowing shoulders, jumpsuits, loose-cut shorts and breezy maxi dresses.
Born in Sri Lanka in the the wake of the 2004 tsunami, Kissin Cussin brings colour and femininity to the season, plus a renewed sense of purpose to women in the village of Tallala Bay.
