HowBigIsYourEco made no secret of our infatuation with The Uniform Project, having covered it once or twice before—and it’s back! For those unfamiliar, the Project was an experiment in sustainable style and philanthropy. One woman, one LBD, 365 days… each day the dress was reinvented with pre-owned, handmade or donated accessories. Fans donated over US$100,000 to charity.
Year Two of The Uniform Project: The Pilot Series, is now underway… one dress, one month, one cause.
Kicking off the Pilot Series is India Salvor Menuez (pictured), a cute redhead with a penchant for mismatched Mary Janes who divides her time between New York and Reykjavik. India’s cause is Our School at Blair Grocery, an independent school and community centre for low income youth in New Orleans.
India is jazzing up her LBD for all of August (see below) before the next pilot steps into the cockpit. Visit The Uniform Project to follow the sartorial journeys and contribute some coin for a good cause.
